Vision & Values

At Life in Community CIC, our vision is to bring new life to our community by enhancing the lives of people in Tipton. Empowering residents to see themselves as valuable community assets as a result of addressing issues around health, education and employment.

Our passion stems from a deep-rooted belief that every individual—regardless of background—deserves a chance to thrive. Tipton is a place rich in history and resilience, but like many underserved communities, it faces challenges such as social isolation, limited opportunities and economic hardship.

We are driven by the urgent need to bring hope, connection, and practical support to the people here. Our work is not just about delivering services—it's about restoring dignity, empowering voices and creating spaces where community can flourish. We believe that by standing with Tipton, we can help unlock the potential that already exists within it, building a stronger, more inclusive future together.

We operate with Integrity, ensuring our work is transparent, trustworthy, and rooted in the real needs of the community. Our Faithfulness drives us to walk alongside individuals and families from crisis to confidence, never giving up halfway. And we pursue Excellence in everything—from our food provision and wellbeing projects to youth mentoring, family support, and community events.

Community development is not a buzzword to us—it’s the foundation of what we do. We believe real, lasting change happens when people feel seen, supported, and empowered to shape their own futures. Every project we run is designed to build stronger connections, unlock potential, and help Tipton thrive from the inside out.

Our Values

The service provided by Life in community has helped me gain confidence in 'going out' again my anxiety/depression was stopping me from venturing outdoors. I sincerely hope that the services will continue going forwards. I currently only partake of one of the days offered but would like to do others as my confidence grows.
